Department of Commerce CA & CS Organizes a Seminar on "Union Budget 2025:Challenges, Opportunities and The Way Forward".   The Department of Commerce CA and CS successfully conducted the One-Day Seminar on "Union Budget 2025: Challenges, Opportunities and the Way Forward" at Thanthai Hans Roever College (Autonomous), Perambalur, on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the college premises. The event aimed to provide valuable insights into the Union Budget’s key provision, economic impact and the policy implications. Dr. K. Varadarajan, Founder and Chairman of the Roever Group of Institutions, presided over the function, while Principal Dr. K. Ravichandran felicitated the program. The event was graced by Vice Principal Dr. S. Sivakumar and Dean of Arts Dr. K. Maruthadurai who also shared their insights.   The session was led by Dr. K. Suresh, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, SRMV College of Arts and Science , Coimbatore. In his keynote address, he explored the relationship between the Union Budget and economic growth. He discussed the budget’s impact on taxation, public expenditure and fiscal deficit too. He also addressed and clarified the doubts raised by the students.  In his speech, he highlighted about the critical components of the Union Budget.. The welcome address was delivered by Dr. Sumathi Franklin, Head of the Department of Commerce CA & CS, while Assistant Professor Dr. K. Anitha  introduced the chief guest.
