OPENING: Workshop on Basics of Stock Market/Share Market & Financial Planning was organized by Department of Commerce CA & CS for B.Com CA, B.Com CS & M.Com on 29^th July, 2024. The overall objective of the workshop was to understand some basic concept of Stock Market/Share Market & Financial Planning. The workshop was opened at 10:00 A.M. with a welcome statement by Dr. Sumathi Franklin, Head, Department of Commerce CA & CS. WORKSHOP DISCUSSION: Mr. B. Badrinarayanan and Mr B. Karthik discussed about the importance of having knowledge on  wealth management. He explained the students that saving is import ant and one should start from early age itself. Mr Badrinarayanan also motivated the students to study about share market and to invest in the mutual funds. Some of the highlights of the presentation are as follows:
