Department of Computer Applications Organizes a National level Seminar on "Data-Driven Insights with Visual Analytics". Date: 26/02/2025 Event: National level Seminar Title: Data-Driven Insights with Visual Analytics’ Resource Person:     Dr.V.Arogiya Sheela,Asst.Prof,St.Joseph’s College,Trichy. On 26th February 2025, the Department of Computer Applications at Thanthai Hans Roever College (Autonomous) organized a one-day seminar at the AVE Hall.                         The National level seminar began with a warm welcome address by Dr. V. Poongodi, Head of the Department of Computer Applications. Following this, Dr. S. Sivakumar, Principal i/c, delivered the felicitation address, highlighting the significance of technical education beyond conventional programming languages. Dr.S.Manimaran,Dean of Science, He highlighted the key skills,strategies and opportunities that can empower students to launch careers in the IT sector. The chief guest delivered an insightful address, elucidating the transformative power of emerging technologies. She gave the Explanation on “Harnessing AI, Data Analytics and visual data analytics for informed decision making”. She emphasized the importance of understanding various roles in the IT industry and developing skills that prepare students for a broad spectrum of opportunities. The session was very interactive and interesting. Through this 200 Students got benefited through this Seminar, The students had got a knowledge about artificial Intelligence. The National Level Seminar concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs.R.Jothi, Asst.Professor, Department of Computer Applications and the event came to an end with the National Anthem, making a successful and informative session for the students.
