Department of Computer Applications Organize an One Day National Seminar on " Next-Gen Skills in Cloud Computing". Thanthai Hans Roever College (Autonomous), Perambalur Department of Computer Applications One Day National Seminar on Next-Gen Skills in Cloud Computing Date: Tuesday, 29th July 2025 | Time: 10:00 AM | Venue: A.V.E Hall The Department of Computer Applications successfully organized a One Day National Level Seminar on "Next-Gen Skills in Cloud Computing" on Tuesday, 29th July 2025 at 10:00 AM in the A.V.E Hall, Thanthai Hans Roever College (Autonomous), Perambalur. The seminar aimed to impart knowledge on current and emerging trends in cloud technologies and their real-time industry applications. The seminar featured Dr. S. Hendry Leo Kanickam, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, Bishop Heber College, Trichy, as the esteemed resource person. In his keynote address, he discussed the integration of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, DevOps, Edge Computing, Multi-Cloud environments, Cloud Security, Blockchain, and Quantum Computing into cloud ecosystems. His interactive session provided deep insights into how these technologies are transforming the IT landscape and creating innovative career opportunities for the future. The session commenced with a Welcome Address by Dr. V. Poongodi, Head of the Department of Computer Applications. The event was presided over by Dr. K. Varadharaajen, Founder and Chairman of the Roever Group of Institutions, and was felicitated by Dr. K. Ravichandran, Principal, Thanthai Hans Roever College (Autonomous). Both dignitaries emphasized the significance of equipping students with advanced technical skills relevant to the evolving IT industry. The session was highly engaging and witnessed the enthusiastic participation of around 190 students, who gained valuable knowledge on cloud service models, deployment models, and their applications across various industries. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Mrs. R. Jothi, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Applications, who extended heartfelt gratitude to the resource person, dignitaries, organizing staff, and students for making the seminar a grand success.
