Department of Computer Applications Organize One Day Seminar on "Full Stack Development".
The Department of Computer Applications, Thanthai Hans Roever College (Autonomous), Perambalur, organized a One Day Seminar on Full Stack Development on 21st August 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the AVE Hall. The event was conducted under the guidance of the HoD, Dr. V. Poongodi, along with Dr. S. Manimaran, Dean of Science, and Dr. S. Sivakumar, Vice-Principal.
The seminar commenced with the Presidential Address by Dr. K. Varadharaajen, Founder and Chairman, Roever Group of Institutions, Perambalur. He highlighted the importance of continuous learning and the role of industry-ready skills in building a strong career.
This was followed by the Felicitation Address delivered by Dr. K. Ravichandran, Principal, Thanthai Hans Roever College (Autonomous), Perambalur. He encouraged the students to utilize such seminars for practical exposure and professional growth.
The Chief Guest Address was given by Ms. Easski. C, Trainer, Elysium Academy, Perambalur. She provided valuable insights on Full Stack Development, its current industry trends, and how it plays a crucial role in both startups and established companies. She motivated the students to focus on web technologies, frameworks, and deployment practices to build real-world applications.
In his instructions, RP emphasized that students should not depend on AI tools like ChatGPT for learning, but instead upskill their programming abilities by practicing consistently. He advised them to aim for joining startup companies after completing their degree to gain hands-on experience. He further instructed every student to complete five mini projects and two real-time projects, and to create a professional portfolio, which would be highly beneficial in securing jobs as freshers.
The session was highly informative, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and industry requirements. Students gained clarity on how to strengthen their coding skills and prepare for their careers.
The seminar concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by I MCA Student, Baby Ananthi, who expressed gratitude to the faculty members, and fellow students for their active participation and support in making the seminar a success.
