Department of Mathematics & Computer Applications Organize oan International Seminar on "Theory and Applications of Mathematice in AI". International Seminar on Theory and Applications of Mathematics in AI On behalf of PG & Research Department of Mathematics, Thanthai Hans Roever College (Autonomous), Perambalur, organized an International Seminar on “Theory and Applications of Mathematics in AI” on 28th July 2025 at 10 a.m. in AVE hall for the Mathematics and Computer Application students. The event was presided over by Dr. K. Varadharaajen, Chairman, Roever Group of Institutions, Dr. K. Ravichandran, Principal, Dr. S. Sivakumar, Vice Principal and, Dr. S. Manimaran, Dean of Science felicitated the programme. Mr. D. Mahendrakumar, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, delivered the welcome address. Dr. R. Anuradha, Head & Assistant Professor of Mathematics introduced the Resource person. Dr. M. P. Kulandaivel, Professor, Mathematics Section, College of Computing and Information Science, University of Technology and Applied Sciences – Al Mussanah, Sultanate of Oman. He explained the critical role mathematics plays in advancing AI and also explained how to use the mathematical tools in AI. Dr. V. Poongodi, Head & Assistant Professor of Computer Applications introduced the Resource person Dr. S. Geethalakshmi, Assistant Professor, PG &Research Dept of Mathematics, AVVM Sri Pushpam College (A), Poondi-613503. She explained the concepts in Graph Labelling and real word applications. Around 250 inter college students (Maths&CA) attended the programme. Finally, Principal issued the certificates for all the participants. Ms. R. Yogalakshmi, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, proposed the vote of thanks.
