Department of Social Work & Social Justice and human Rights Unit Perambalur District Police organizes Awarness on "Social Justice and Human Rights ". Thanthai Hans Rover College Anti Drug club and Department of  Social Work, along with the Social Justice and Human Rights Division of the Perambalur District Police, held an awareness program under the topic 'Social Justice and Human Rights'. The event was held on 22.07.25 at 11 am at the college campus AVE Hall. The special guest of the event was  Perambalur District Superintendent of Police, Mr. Adarsh Pachera IPS. He shared with a few examples of what social justice is?, cultural superstitious beliefs, and the crime of buying dowry. Mangalamedu Sub Division (i/c) SJHR Deputy Superintendent of Police Mr. M. Dhanasekaran addressed the Traffic and Road Safety . He shared with a few rules and regulations need to be follow the safety rules while driving and also need to wear helmet while driving. Additional Superintendent of Police Perambalur Mr. M. Balamurugan, raised awareness on Drug Abuse and explained with few recent examples. What will happen if people's consume drugs and what are the legal action taken towards it. Deputy Superintendent of Police, Perambalur Mr. A. Arokkiyaraj raised awareness on child labor. He shared what are the scheme given for the children's education and also need to give awareness about the important of educations. He also asked the students to fix a goal to travel in a proper direction for future development. The event was presided over by Dr. K. Varadarajan, Founder and Chairman of the Roever Education Trust. Thanthai Hans Roever College Principal Dr. K. Ravichandran delivered the welcome Address. Vice Principal Dr. S. Sivakumar,  Dr. K. Marudadurai Dean of Arts, Dean of Science  Dr. S. Manimaran were graced the events. Head of the Department of Social Work, Mr. Arun Prasath thanked all the dignitaries.
