Department of Tamil & Visual Communication organise " One Day Seminar on Advertising strategies and Practices".   A one-day seminar was jointly organized by the Department of Tamil and the Department of Visual Communication.  Dr.K.Varadharaajen, Chairman of Roever Institutions presided over the seminar. The seminar was lead by the Vice-Chairman John Ashok Varadharajan and Principal (I/N) Dr.S.Sivakumar, Deans of Arts Dr.K.Marudathurai, Dean of Science Dr.S.Manimaran and coordinator Dr.V Dhanalakshmi. Mr.Ram Gowri Shankar, Director of Advertising from Chennai was the special guest and spoke on the topic ‘Advertising Strategies and Practices’ in detail about advertising strategies, how they are implemented today, concept of advertising, importance of words chosen for it, background of advertising and how students can prepare themselves for it. Visual Communication department students, other department students and professors participated in it. Tamil Department Head Mr.M.Devar Selvam gave his welcome speech and student Surendhar M.A., Tamil finished the session with his vote of thanks.
