Faculty Development Programme

Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) organized "Faculty Development Programme" on "Strategic Targets for Sustaining Excellence, Navigating NAAC Reforms and Binary Accrediation". The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Thanthai Hans Roever College (Autonomous), Perambalur, successfully organized a Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on 26th November 2024. The focus of the session was on strategic targets for sustaining excellence, navigating NAAC reforms, and binary accreditation. The program aimed to enhance the understanding of faculty members regarding the key aspects of the NAAC accreditation process and its implications for maintaining and improving the quality of higher education. The session was inaugurated by Dr. K. Varadharaajen, Founder-Chairman of the Roever Group of Institutions, Perambalur. Dr. Varadharaajen emphasized the critical importance of continuous professional development and institutional quality improvement, particularly in the context of NAAC accreditation. His address set the tone for the session, underlining the role of accreditation in enhancing institutional reputation and ensuring long-term excellence in higher education. Dr. S. Sivakumar, Principal (i/c) of Thanthai Hans Roever College, welcomed the gathering of nearly 120 staff members. In his address, Dr. Sivakumar highlighted the significance of faculty involvement in accreditation processes and the need for collaborative efforts to achieve quality benchmarks set by NAAC. The session was led by Dr. A. Mahendiran, Director of Accreditation at Roever Group of Institutions, who brought his extensive experience and knowledge to the programme. Key Highlights:  The program was well-attended by around 120 faculty members.  The session provided valuable insights into NAAC reforms and the binary accreditation process.  Dr. Mahendiran's session was a comprehensive guide for faculty members on how to align their work with NAAC's quality criteria.  The event marked an important step towards further strengthening the quality culture at Thanthai Hans Roever College.
