PG & Research Department of English organizes a One Day Seminar on " The Art of Communication: From Campus to Corporate". The PG and Research Department of English, Thanthai Hans Roever College (Autonomous), Perambalur, organized a One Day Seminar entitled The Art of Communication: From Campus to Corporate on 25thAugust 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the AVE Hall. Dr.M. Ramesh Kumar, Assistant Professor in English, Department of Language, Culture and Society Languages, SRM IST Campus, Trichy, was the invited resource person and he sermonized on the title, “The Art of Communication: from Campus to Corporate”. In his address, he explained about the art of storytelling and their impact in our culture and identity.  He also enhanced his speech with geopolitics, world education, and world economy for student’s valuable information. He augmented with the word BRICS for the countries Brazil, Russia, India, China and Saudi Arabia for their developing skills in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cyber Security, innovation in energy and green technology. He tested the students with the stories of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson. He pointed out that knowledge, skill and attitude is more important for a graduate to get placed in reputed institutions like IIT for out of 50 lakh graduates, only 40 % of them are getting employed.  He motivated the students with small stories for their better understandings. More than 200 students got benefitted through his seminar. Dr. K.Varadharaajen Founder - chairman of the Roever Group of Institutions, presided over the program. Dr.K. Ravichandran, Principal and Dr.S.Sivakumar, Vice Principal of the college, offered felicitation.Dr. K. Tamilmaran, Dean of languages also graced this occasion with his presence. Mr.M. Ananthkumar , Head of the Department of English organised the seminar and the faculties of the department were also present. Ms. Sindhu of II B.A. English welcomed the gathering and Ms. Srimathi of I B.A English proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. Karishma Begum and Ms. Sumathi of III B.A English mastered the ceremony while Ms. E. S. Adhirai introduced the resource person briefly.
