Two day international conference titled “Sustainability of Business and Recent Trends” (ICSBRT-2024) was held on 08.10.2024 and 09.10.2024 at the Audio-Visual Auditorium of Thanthai Hans Rover College (Autonomous), organized by the PG & Research Department of Management Studies. Dr. K. Varadharaajen, Chairman, RoverGroup of Educational Institutions, inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp and delivered the inaugural address. Mr. John Ashok Varadharajan, Vice Chairman,also graced the occasion with his presence. On the first day, Dr. A. Tamilarasu, Professor of Accounting and Finance from Gambella University, Ethiopia, East Africa, Dr. B. Balamurugan, Professor of Business Economics at Thanthai Periyar Government College, Tiruchirappalli, and Dr. T. Kumuthavalli, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Lifelong Learning, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, were present as special guests and delivered their insights. On the second day, Dr. A. Mathiazhagan, Assistant Professor, Department of Management Studies, Sri ManakulaVinayagar Engineering College, Puducherry, Lt. R. Dinesh Kumar, Assistant Professor of Finance and Accountancy from Christ (Deemed to be University), Bangalore, Karnataka, and Prof. K. Sunitha, Assistant Professor of Management Studies from Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences (Autonomous), Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, were the distinguished guests who participated and shared their expertise. Over the course of the two days, a wide range of topics such as Sustainable Business Models, Green Technologies and Innovations, Digital Transformation and Sustainability, E-Commerce and Digital Retail, Green Business Practices, Consumer Behavior and Personalization, Remote Work and Hybrid Work Models, Social Media and Influencer Marketing, Innovations in Financial Technologies (FinTech), Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in Business, Business Model Innovation, Artificial Intelligence and Automation in Customer Service were thoroughly discussed and deliberated upon. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. S. Sivakumar Principal i/c, Dr. R. Saktheeswaran,Academic Director,Dr. K. Maruthadurai, Dean of Arts. More than 300 students from the department of Management Studies Thanthai Hans Rover College, along with participants from various universities and colleges across Tamil Nadu, attended the event. Awards for Best Research Paper and Best Presentation were given out, along with certificates for all student participants. Dr. S.Samarthakani, Head PG & Research Department of Management Studies gave the welcome address, and Lt.P. Praveen Perumal delivered the vote of thanks. The event was organized by the faculty members, students of the Management Studies department and Office manager.
