PG & Research Department of Physical Sciences organizes one Day Guest lecture on "Nanomaterials and it's Applications". A One-Day Guest Lecture titled "Nanomaterials and Their Applications" was organized by the Department of Chemistry and Physics at Thanthai Hans Rover College, Autonomous on Wednesday, 25.09.2024, at 10:30 a.m. in the AV Hall, THRC. Dr.V.Pandian, Associate Professor, Department of Physics, Nehru Memorial College, Puthinampatti, was the Guest of Honour. In his special address, he discussed the Degradation of Dyes through Photocatalysis, which is used for Wastewater Purification. Another Guest of Honour, Dr.K.Palanichamy, Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, Perambalur delivered a detailed talk on Nanomaterials and their applications. The event was presided over by Dr.K.Varadharaajen, Chairman, RoverGroup of Institutions. Dr.S.Sivakumar, Vice Principal, THRC and Dr.S.Manimaran, Dean, THRC felicitated the gathering. Dr.T.Palanichamy, Head, Department of Chemistry delivered the welcome address, and Dr.R.Anbarasu, Assistant Professor,  Department of Physics proposed the vote of thanks. Over 200 students participated and benefited from the event.
