With the zealous efforts of the Chairman, Dr.K.VARADHARAAJEN, Performing Arts was established in 1990 to develop our traditional rural arts in Thanthai Hans Roever College, Perambalur which is one of the most backward districts in Tamil Nadu.Every year our college students participates in BDU Fest held at Bharathidasan University and bags many prizes. Our college has won the Overall Championship title for the past two years (2017-18 and 2018-2019). It also offers Fees Concession to all the cultural students. For the past 31 years, the college has been proud to be the most award-winning college in Folk Dance and theatre events held at BDU Fest. Since the college possess many achievements for the past 31 years, new programmes namely, Diploma in Folk Dance & PG Diploma in Folk Dance was introduced this year in our college for the first time in Tamil Nadu in order to further develop this art.
